Why I’m Here
Hi! I’m Ashley Shelnutt and I admit it. I’m a big sucker for the underdog. I love the spirit of small companies, entrepreneurs, and anyone trying to build something out of their dreams… especially those trying to build something online! But we all know there’s a lot to learn if you’re doing it on your own. That’s why I’m here… to help that process go a little more smoothly. Now you can tap into my experience and expertise so you don’t have to flounder around on your own, building and running your site.
Where I Came From
I was a corporate webmaster for a NYSE publicly traded company for over a decade. I hit the mother of all cross-training jackpots because I was the lead member of a web/mulit-media team of ONE. I got to learn everything about everything web – which was really fun! And I also got to watch the Internet grow up in all its glorious wonder. It’s a fantastic space with all kinds of opportunities if you know how to take advantage of them. Truly, the web is my playground and I’d love to share it with you.
What I Give You
Lots of ‘experts’ talk on and on about what you should do, explain it in a kind of vague way, and then send you off to ‘do it.’ All the while, you’re scratching your head, wondering how to actually implement their ‘advice.’ That’s not how I work. I promise to give you clear tasks, show you how to do them, and teach you why they’re important. Every task you perform in building your online presence has a reason – otherwise you’re wasting your time. I make sure you really understand how everything works together.
Let’s Have a Reality Check
I have years of experience in developing websites and web application, and the Number 1 thing I’ve learned is that building your online presence is a on-going process. You can’t build it overnight and expect it to be a success. And you can’t just build it, leave it and expect success. There are a lot of factors that contribute to online success and I promise you one thing: as long as you consistently work, over the course of time, you will be successful. I’m here to help you during the process; ‘pick’ my webbed brain with all my experience and knowledge to learn the things that keep you moving forward towards success.
